剧情上佳，情节曲折，温碧霞表演出色。本来我看这部影片是冲着温碧霞去的，但看到中途却也被它的故事吸引住了。如果抛去该片的那点儿色情戏，那《惊变》可以算一个悬疑片。整部影片还算耐看，但该片最大的卖点仍是温碧霞的裸露镜头(属于太平公主)。我认为片中任达华的同伙想强暴温碧霞那场拍得颇为精彩，倒是后来任、温二人的重头床上戏略显平常 .
